Merge odd and even scanned PDF pages automatically
Upload two or more PDFs, reverse any source file if needed, then interleave pages into one clean document. This is ideal for rebuilding front and back scans from a single-sided scanner, fixing odd and even page batches, and creating a correctly ordered PDF without installing software.

Alternate & Mix PDF means combining pages from separate PDF files by taking pages in a repeating order, such as A1, B1, A2, B2, A3, B3. It is especially useful when a single-sided scanner creates one PDF for front pages and another PDF for back pages. The tool interleaves those files so the final PDF reads normally from first page to last page.
Use a clear four-step workflow to rebuild double-sided scans or any repeated page pattern.
Add the odd-pages file and the even-pages file. You can also upload more files if you need a round-robin mix.
Arrange files in the sequence you want the output to follow, such as odd pages first and even pages second.
Enable Reverse pages for any scan saved backwards, usually the back-side or even-pages file.
Create one mixed PDF with copied pages in the selected pattern, then download the final file.
Alternate & Mix PDF is not the same as a normal merge. A normal merge places File A followed by File B. A page interleaver takes one page from File A, then one page from File B, then repeats the pattern.

Common scanner workflow: You scan the front side of every sheet first, creating a PDF with pages 1, 3, 5, 7, and so on. Then you flip the paper stack and scan the back side, creating another PDF with pages 2, 4, 6, 8, and so on. If the back-side scan is reversed, enable Reverse pages for that file before mixing.
What the tool can and cannot do: It can copy pages into a new order, reverse source files, handle extra pages based on your selected rule, and create a clean output PDF. It does not repair damaged scans, sharpen blurry text, rotate upside-down pages automatically, run OCR, compress file size, or edit visible PDF content.
Every feature shown here is supported by the page controls and browser-side processing.
Use round-robin page mixing to take page 1 from each source, then page 2 from each source, and continue.
Correct backward scans by reversing a source file before its pages are copied into the final PDF.
Choose whether to append remaining pages or stop when the shortest uploaded PDF runs out of pages.

Alternate & Mix PDF means building one PDF by taking pages alternately from two or more PDF files. A common use is combining an odd-pages scan with an even-pages scan to rebuild a double-sided document in normal reading order.
Upload the odd-pages PDF and the even-pages PDF, check the file order, reverse the even-pages file if your scanner saved it backwards, then click Alternate & Mix. The page order is rebuilt and downloaded as one PDF.

Review the first few pages, a few middle pages, and the final pages. A missing scanned sheet can shift the entire odd-even sequence, so a quick review is important.
